At RNN we hope to achieve the following Goals: 

- To provide education to the children who would have otherwise dropped out from school, if adequate support wasn’t provided.

 

- To try and make sure that the students are mentored and supported to complete their education and that this education is used for a stable career in the future.

 

School Selection

The child will be admitted in a school that is among the good ones in their area. We believe most of the schools provide basic education, unless the student teacher ratio is minimum, it does not matter which school the child goes to.

The Volunteer in that community/village would be supervised to find top schools in the community and then negotiations would be made with the principal/administration to provide regular updates about the students, reduce the fee structure and other financial obligations.

 

Child Selection
 

To achieve fair monitoring and easy coordination of the students, the children would be chosen in the beginning of each academic year. This provides easy facilitation of our goals and provides easier ways to prevent the misuse of our funds. We will assign a coordinator to each student.

- The child whom we select should have parents whose annual income is below 65,000 rupees

- The child although not exceptionally intellectual must show enthusiasm towards better education and future.

- The child must belong to a family specific to a particular area. In essence the child must not move from one village to another, if there is any indication he/she would move, it means we wouldn’t be able to review their progress because of lack of volunteers.

Over the years we have observed that a lot of importance needs to be given for transparency. In we listing down our goals and criterion we not only provide our sponsors transparency but also we provide them a clear picture of why we do what we do.
